CERTIFICATE IN SKINCARE TECHNIQUES
Course Includes
Theory
Understanding the advanced knowledge of the skin.
Students will learn about skin types and conditions, be able to recognise specific contra-indications relating to the skin, learn about the skin's anatomy, as well as the skin's structure and function. You will be able to successfully combine the correct products for each skin type/condition to get the best results for your clients.
Practical
You will be able to perform a full facial routine. This includes cleansing techniques, a thorough skin analysis, understanding the different types of exfoliations using scrubs, AHA’s and enzymatic peels. A complete face, neck, shoulder and scalp massage routine as well as the use of luxury mask treatments with cream, clay and paraffin wax. This course will have you working on several skin types/conditions throughout the course to be able to truly establish the diagnosis of the skin in any situation.
Training: 5 weeks (1 day a week) - (30 hours)

Practical $2,500.00 + GST.

**students must complete 10 case studies on clients at home/in salon and then return to be assessed before a certification can be given**

CERTIFICATE IN DERMAPLANING
Course Includes
Theory
Understand the background knowledge of micro-dermaplaning.
You will learn the advanced structures of the skin and hair, and what effects it will have on the treatment. Specific contra-indications to the skin as well as preparation and hygiene techniques designed to perform a safe, thorough treatment.

Practical
Students will learn how to safely and correctly prep and perform a micro-dermaplaning treatment to the whole face and neck, putting the correct hygiene measures into action to deal with every possible scenario as well as the safe application and removal of surgical blades.

Training: 1 full day (approx. 4-5 hours)

Advanced Level
Student must have studied a certificate in skincare training previously and have been working for a minimum of 3 years in a salon/spa or home salon.
